Ende Sept 2009: Sehr nette und unkomplizierte Vermieter. Schönes Haus. Schöne Aussicht. Zu Fuss in 10 Minuten am Meer (Treppe). Mit Auto in 10 Minuten in Almunecar Zentrum. Der Pool ist relativ klein und hat Wasser verloren (täglich frisches Wasser nachfüllen). Fast kein Schatten vorhanden, keine Sonnenschirme. Gartenmöbel (Kunststofftisch und Stühle) sollten ersetzt werden. End of september 2009 Very nice and uncomplicated owner. Beautiful house with beautiful view of the sea. 10 minutes to walk to the sea (stairs). 10 minutes to drive with car to the centre of Almunecar. The pool is a bit small and did loose water (we did refill water every day). Nearly no shade, no parasols. The outside furniture (plastic table and chairs) should be replaced by new ones.

The owner's response:
1. The pool is a small pool (6m x 3,5 m) the size is not stated on the advert. I will enter the pool sizes in the advert today. The pool was loosing water that week, the problem has now been solved. 2. The villa has a very large shaded patio area ( about 32m ). We do not supply extra parasols because the wind breaks them and we do not think them nessesary. We do not advertise that parasols are provided. 3. The high quality garden furniture was bought new for this year. There are 6 metal chairs with covers and a stone table, as well as a futher 6 quality resin (plastic) chairs and table.

"More than we expected and wanted, was available in and round the house: fantastic terrace, super BBQ, great view and just a 10 minute walk to the sea (and climb nearly 300 steps back). Nearby Almunecar but at the same time rest and privacy. Many thanks to Martyn for his hospitality, his suggestions (driving to the Pena Scrita and the restauranr El Arbol Blanco!!!), and the nice talks about the Spanish way of living! Baie dankie!!"
