Country holiday home - San Miguel de Abona

Very nice and calm place. Our family liked the interior of the cottage - it is very tastefully decorated and properly equipped, easy to find every needed thing, from iron to baking paper. Owner is extremely friendly - on the day of arrival he explained us where to find nearest supermarkets and recommended several touristic and non-touristic places to visit. It is strongly recommended to rent a car - as a cottage is located in a quite remote area of the island. Cottage is more than suitable for families with children - there is a garden and a terrace, owners even have a rabbit, parrots and a cat. In general our family absolutely enjoyed being there and for sure would choose the same place to stay for the next time in Tenerife.

"A comfortable,clean,well equipped,house,in a quiet village setting,not overlooked by other property. Although only 20 minutes from the Airport by motorway,the house is behind hills and neither Airport nor motorway can be seen or heard. The very private terrace has a pleasant view over the pretty garden and a hillside of small bushes. The setting is very convenient for access to other areas of the island, and makes an ideal base for a walking holiday - the 45 minute drive to Mt. Teide is winding and spectacular, and Orotava and Puerto de la Cruz are an hour away on the motorway. Highly recommended, and excellent value."
