" Very well located so you can enjoy walking all Aix-en-provence has to offer, facing the Pavillon Vendôme, 100m from the thermal baths, 300m from the St-Sauveur cathedral, close to Cezanne's studio and 5 min walk from the Cours Mirabeau and the Mazarin area. In our house you will enjoy the old way of living, with old floor tiles, high ceilings, cement tiles and modern comfort with a refined contemporary decoration. The house is very bright thanks to many openings. You will have the pleasure to have your meals outside under the hundred-year-old plane trees, linden tree and chestnut tree. The bedrooms are air-conditioned. You can park 3 cars in the garden. 5 minutes walk away from the house, you will be able to go to the downtown market (fresh local products, in season fruits and vegetables). Supermarket, a deep-frozen products store are 50 m away from the house, as well as bakeries, butcher shops and others. "

In the city, you can enjoy the Lyric Art Festival, the Grand Théâtre de Provence, the National Choreographic Center, the Pavillon Noir, the Pasino, the thermal baths, many museums, many sites related to Paul Cezanne's life, as well as many Provencal markets... 5 minutes drive away is the Sainte Victoire Mountain and the Bibemus quarries, 1 hour away is the Luberon and its villages, Gordes, Bonnieux, Lourmarin, the Baux de Provence... In 30 min you are on the beaches of Cassis, Marseille...In 1 hour in Avignon. Many wine-producing domaine can be found in our region like Côtes de Provence, Sainte Victoire, the wines of Cassis, Bandol.... There is also a lot of olive oil producing. You can taste our own production. Information regarding visits, events, restaurants... will be at your disposal. "

The house and its furnishings, as well as the gardens were even better than pictured in the advertisement. Everything was immaculately clean and every amenity one could need was available; particularly in the kitchen. There was plenty of space for the four of us for the week. The location was perfect, across the street from a beautiful park and an easy walk to all of Aix, including the markets and stores. The owners were a delight to do business with. I hope to return for a longer stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a rental in the Aix-en-Provence vicinity.

"We had a fabulous stay at this very lovely and well-maintained house in Aix - the house was clean, spacious and well-equipped and it was great to stay somewhere where "real cooking" was an option - a supermarket just down the road and daily fresh produce markets in the centre of town, 10 minutes walk away. The garden is great for warm weather with plenty of deckchairs and dining furniture and we spent lots of time just sitting with a book watching the swifts. It was all very relaxing. Catherine and Frederic were very friendly and helpful and had obviously put thought into things that would make the house welcoming - e.g. nice soaps and shower gel and some useful supplies in the fridge on arrival. Aix is a beautiful city and this is a good base from which to explore it - close enough to get to everything very quickly but definitely more spacious than anywhere right in the middle of town would be at the same price. A real find - we have already recommended it to a couple of friends."

this house is impeccably clean. perfect, and a complete privilege to be able to stay in. very quiet, very serene property. Simple elegance throughout. a perfect location to get around the city center and beyond. I look forward to returning again someday.
