The Venice Film Festival

This September enjoy the art of film with a viewing at the 66th Venice International Film Festival. The biannual event organized by the Venice Biennale will be directed, for the 6th year running, by Marco Muller.

An international outlook

Whilst the festival has a strong connection to the Italian film culture, the main focus is on raising awareness and promoting all aspects of international cinema. The Venice International Film Festival will look at the world of cinema from all angles such as art, entertainment and industry. With five international juries and prestigious awards such as the Golden Lion for the best film and the Silver Lion for the best director, the film line-up is set to be impressive.

As well as the Film Festival, the Biennale is world renowned for its International Art Exhibition and the International Architecture Exhibition.
