The European Music Day network, first started in France in 1982, organises free concerts across Greece and this year it will be entering its 10th year of existence in the country.

The European Music Day is a free event that is open to everybody and it boasts over 100 free public performances to entertain the crowds. Stages crop up all over the city and Greek talent from across the country comes together. Musical genres include classical, jazz, Greek art song, ethnic, rock, electro and tradional, and visitors from all over the country and abroad will be taking part in the summer festivities.
