"We stayed here in June / July and the apartment showed all the signs of being just finished, all who worked on the modern redesign / redecoration can feel justly proud. For four people we found the apartment to be very spacious and easy to relax in. The second bedroom is small but not inconveniently so. The views from all windows are great and provide a constant reminder that one is in mountain country. The decoration, furniture and fittings are fist class and create a haven of comfort after a hard day's holidaying. Eating in or eating out are equally easy as the kitchen equipment is excellent and good restaurants are a short walk away. Saint-Gervais has a very good market on Thursdays and the brasserie (café / restaurant) in the town centre is worth a visit. All in all, the apartment is situated in an area of exceptional scenery and sporting opportunities and itself lives up to the high standards of its surroundings. From a practical point of view this retired pensioner didn't find the three floors up to be a problem. There is some traffic noise from the nearby road if the windows are open. We had hot weather but the apartment stayed cool. Parking in the nearby public car park was ok, except during a rain storm!"

"Beautifully appointed accommodation. We were surprised at the amount of space in the apartment - plenty of room for two families. A big main bedroom, large lounge and kitchen. Bedrooom two was smaller but still sufficient for two people. The bedrooms and living areas have been finished to a very high standard. All in very good condition and well maintained. <br> <br> There are views in two directions from the apartment looking up towards the ski area in Saint Gervais and back toward La Fayet - very useful to watch the weather changing hour by hour. Saint Gervais town centre was just a five minute walk away. The town provides an excellent selection of ski hire shops, restaurants and small supermarkets. We found the evenings to be very quiet but the popular restaurants were busy most nights. Saint Gervais is a very friendly little town - not the slightest bit pretentious. The Mont Blanc Tramway station was about 300m away although we didn't have time to try it. From the kitchen window we watched the trams depart the station in the morning. This would be great for walkers/hikers in the summer although it was used by skiers during our stay. <br> <br> We rented a car in Geneva airport and arrived at the apartment in just over an hour. After that we used the car to access the local ski areas - Saint Gervais, Megève, and Les Contamines. The ski bus stopped outside of the apartment but we didn't use it as all ski areas had their own free parking. The local skiing was well suited to beginners and intermediates - lots of green, blue and red runs. Mostly chairlifts and gondolas (hoorary!!) The apartment was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We mixed self-catering with eating out in the local restaurants. Both options were easy. It was an absolutely ideal place to stay. The only problems we could identify were the three flights of steps up to the apartment (more exercise after a day's skiing) and the fact that some people like to ski from the doorstep. Although the latter is not possible, there are a lot of options within easy reach to satisfy the most active skier or boarder. I would love to return to Saint Gervais and would certainly rent this apartment again."
